IAP
IAP is a dynamic team of Interactive Architects and Planners dedicated to creating innovative and resilient urban futures that inspire and thrive on a global scale.
ABOUT
Amid rapid technological advancements, including the rise of AI, and shifting population trends, cities and the built environment are experiencing profound transformations and challenges to traditional design principles. Sustainability has transcended being merely a goal for environmentalists or international institutions; it now represents a critical necessity for cities striving to achieve resilience and address increasingly complex and wicked global challenges. In this context, architects and urban planners must collaborate with diverse stakeholders, adopting multidisciplinary perspectives to shape the future of urban life.
OUR STORY
Since 2004, IAP has been providing comprehensive services in architectural design, urban planning, and project management through our offices in Singapore and Shanghai. Over the years, we have successfully delivered more than 50 projects, which have been implemented across 25 cities spanning China, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and the United Kingdom. Our work has garnered recognition for its quality and innovation, contributing to diverse urban landscapes on a global scale.
OUR VISION
City is an interactive organism—a living, dynamic system shaped by individuals. It functions as an ecosystem where people engage with one another, the environment, nature, and architecture in constantly evolving and interconnected ways. “The only thing that is unchanged is change”, says the ancient Chinese Book of Changes: I-Ching. An interactive city is therefore a 4D city which is responsive, flexible, communicative, inclusive and sustainable. Through interactions, our solutions to architecture and planning is akin to fuzzy logic: embrace the world in its fuzzy terms and turns them into logical reality.
