Manchester School of Architecture

 

​The Manchester School of Architecture is a collaborative teaching institution between Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Manchester. It is one of the largest architecture schools in the UK. The program spans two years of full-time study, offering opportunities to participate in joint teaching activities across different institutions, such as the Erasmus program.

Language Requirements

IELTS (UKVI): A minimum overall score of 6.5 is required, with at least 6.0 in each individual category.

 

Statement Requirements

​A concise letter of intent or personal statement that introduces your academic interests, outlines your interest in future dissertation topics, and explains your reasons for wanting to study at the MSA.

Portfolio Requirements

March

A digital portfolio of work (minimum of 35 pages) should be submitted with your application. This can be sent using online file transfer apps such as Dropbox or WeTransfer.

MA

The portfolio should be in PDF format and must not exceed 20 pages.

MLA

Where portfolios are required, they should initially take the form of an online portfolio of up to 12 pages.
