Program-Specific Requirements

​Architecture, Master's (ARB/RIBA Part 2)

A UK 2:1 honors degree in Architecture as prescribed in Part 1 by the Architects Registration Board (ARB) or an equivalent standard demonstrated in your portfolio.
The Part 2 Architecture program requires subsequent accreditation.
If you do not hold ARB Part 1 qualifications, you will need to obtain qualifications at Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 levels before registration.

Architectural Conservation

Normally, a UK 2:1 honors degree or equivalent international level.
If you have relevant professional experience, we may also consider your application; please contact us for verification prior to applying.

Architecture and Urban Design

A professional qualification in Architecture, typically five years of study, with an extensive portfolio of design work clearly marked with author/co-author credits.

Landscape Architecture

Typically, a UK 2:1 honors degree or equivalent international level in an appropriate discipline such as Geography, Planning, or Ecology. You should have a strong interest in landscape design and demonstrate creativity.

Interior, Architectural, and Spatial Design

A UK 2:1 honors degree or its international equivalent in a relevant subject (e.g., Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Product Design, or 3D Design).

  • IELTS: Overall 6.5 (at least 6.0 in each module)
  • TOEFL-iBT: Overall 92 (at least 20 in each module)
  • PTE Academic: Overall 61 (at least 56 in each "Communicative Skills" section)
  • CAE and CPE: Overall 176 (at least 169 in each module)
  • Trinity ISE: ISE II with distinction in all four components

Architectural Conservation
Interior, Architectural, and Spatial Design

  • IELTS: Overall 7.0 (at least 6.0 in each module)
  • TOEFL-iBT: Overall 100 (at least 20 in each module)
  • PTE Academic: Overall 67 (at least 56 in each "Communicative Skills" section)
  • CAE and CPE: Overall 185 (at least 169 in each module)
  • Trinity ISE: ISE III with a pass in all four components

  1. ​The application process requires students to first submit their personal information online. After the university reviews the materials, students will be notified via email to upload their portfolios online.

  2. You can apply for multiple programs simultaneously.
  3. Academic transcripts and degree certificates must be officially certified translations.
  4. Certified Translations
    ​If your original degree certificate, academic transcript, or other relevant documents are not in English, you must provide an officially certified translation.
